Position: Registered Land Surveyor - Project Surveyor
Location: La Grande, Oregon
Position Type: Full-Time
Base Pay: $52,000 to $65,000 (Base Salary-Depending on Qualifications)

Responsibilities

This position will require both field and office work on diverse public and private projects.  The Project Surveyor will be responsible for legal research and computations, boundary resolutions, preparing legal descriptions, platting, ALTA and design surveys, construction survey coordination, staking, and computations, and quality control of field work.  The person chosen for this position will work closely with other licensed surveyors and engineers on a wide variety of projects.

Requirements

To apply for this position, a candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of professional surveying experience and must be a registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Oregon with the ability to become registered in the State of Washington within one (1) year.  The candidate should have a strong platting background and experience with AutoCAD and AutoDesk’s Land Development Desktop (LDD) design platforms to create plats, design base maps, and digital terrain models.  Familiarity with robotic instrumentation, automated data collection methods, and GPS equipment is required. MicroStation InRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.  The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and also work well within a design team.
