Stormwater

AP regularly prepares stormwater planning documents to help our clients sort through the changing regulatory environment and establish approaches that work for them. We work with communities to evaluate preventative maintenance, improve owner education, and monitor effectiveness. When the time comes to implement improvements, clients rely on AP’s experience in developing designs and specifications to address stormwater needs. Our designs focus on identifying discharge options that dictate how the stormwater collection system is laid out. Potential impacts from sedimentation, heavy metals, and other contaminants are mitigated with effective use of best management practices. AP’s design experience includes both conventional and alternative collection and conveyance systems. Our incorporation of the stormwater system design considering other utilities, roadway impacts, and other project constraints often helps improve project implementation and reduce costs.
